Acoustic Blends is Ellijay's longest running Open Mic evening. It has morphed from the Blue Door to Hawthorne Hall at the Gallery to having a stage at the performing arts theater, the George Link, Jr Gilmer Arts Playhouse. Area musicians and visiting musicians gather at the Playhouse every third Friday of the month for a free show, each musician and/or group playing a couple of songs and then at the end they all gather for the famous "Ellijay Jam".
