Opening Reception

Sunday, December 15th, 2024 3:00 – 5:00pm Gilmer Arts’ Hawthorne Hall Gallery

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • The 2025 Fiber Art Exhibition will not be juried
  • There are two categories: 2 Dimensional and 3 Dimensional works of fiber art
  • Submission deadline – Friday, November 22, 2024, 5pm
  • Entry Fee – No entry fee
  • Artists will be notified of acceptance of submitted works on or before November 29, 2024
  • Dates of the Exhibit – Sunday, December 15, 2024, through, Tuesday, February 22, 2025
  • The Annual Fiber Art Exhibition is open to artists 16 years of age and older.
  • Each applicant may submit up to 4 entries in photographic/electronic image format for review.
  • Peoples’ Choice Award wins one-year membership to Gilmer Arts and Two Tickets to a 2025 play of their choice & Photo with piece published.

How to Enter:

  • Option 1: Print and fill out prospectus and return to the Gilmer Arts Center by: Friday, November 22, 2024, 5pm
  • Option 2 (Preferred): Fill out entry form from tab below by: Friday, November 22, 2024, 5pm

ENTRY FORM
All reasonable care will be exercised in the handling and exhibiting of work. Sole liability for the art rests with the artist. Gilmer Arts is not responsible for unclaimed art after the designated pickup date.

I will indemnify and hold harmless Gilmer Arts & Heritage Association and the Gilmer Chamber of Commerce or anyone associated with same from all claims made due to personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to works arising out of exhibiting at this event. Submission of this application form to Gilmer Arts constitutes an agreement with all conditions outlined in this prospectus. Gilmer Arts reserves the right to photograph any accepted work for publicity purposes. Gilmer Arts reserves the right to reject any work presented that does not resemble the submitted entry or work that is not ready to be shown/displayed according to the aforementioned specifications.
