Pat Terry
My name is Pat Terry. I’m first and foremost a songwriter, but I also play guitar, produce records, and
perform as a soloist.
If you were around in the seventies you might remember the music I made with The Pat Terry Group. In the eighties I made three solo albums which I co-produced with my friend Mark Heard in Los Angeles. Then in 1986 l began writing songs for Nashville country artists like Foster and Lloyd, Travis
Iritt,
Tanya Tucker, Kenny Chesney, John Anderson, and The Oak Ridge Boys. I still love the Nashville music community, but these days I spend most of my time in Smyrna, Georgia, the town I grew up in, primarily
writing and recording songs for my own projects.
And of course, I’m often out on the road playing concerts for friends like you. If you’d like me to perform in your
area, drop me a lÃne. I bet we can make it happen. Besides music I enjoy books, movies, well-worn guitars,
and roaming around the Scottish highlands in rental cars. Life is good here down south with my amazing wife Pamela, and our dogs, Apple and Andrew.
