Details: In October, let’s bring our knives out and practice our Palette Knife skill set with Acrylics and a great still water reference. If you’d like to add this skill to your painting toolbox, join us on two Fridays in October for palette knife.
- Mountains and smooth lake water is in second class on Oct 30.

- Come to both or attend the one of your choice.
- Adding texture and creating interest will be our focus for using our palette knives to paint a scene similar to the one shown.
- All levels are welcome, from Beginners to Advanced.
- Max students: 6.
- Class fee for one date is $90 (non-members), $81 (members). Class fee for both dates is $165 (non-members), $ 148.50, (members).
- Sign up for both classes to extend your learning or attend one date of your choice.

Painting kits are offered to beginners for a small fee at beginning of class ($55) or you may bring your own supplies (request a list of supplies to bring—Becca: 706-889-1857). If you have your own supplies, be sure to bring the following items/products: Canvas or Panel (6×6, 8×10, or 12×12) Brushes for acrylics (size 4, 6, 8 flat or brights) Palette knives (at least 2 metal and flexible) Heavy Body acrylic paints (Liquitex, Golden, Artists Loft) Heavy Gel Medium (gloss, Liquitex is a good brand) Water cup, palette (paper or flat glass or panel –paper plates do not work well with palette knife painting) Paper towels If you wish to continue learning acrylics painting, additional sessions continue monthly.
