Our goal with our first theatre camp is to introduce the kids to all aspects of theatre. The children will be divided into three groups. The older group will build the set, the other two groups will use arts and crafts time to make props. We will introduced the groups to the tech booth and just as important – costume construction. If you have a sewing machine and are available the week of June 24th this summer, we would love for you to be a part of this milestone in our children’s program development. The play we are doing is Wizard of Oz and Toto, too. This is the story as told from Toto’s perspective. So, there will be puppy costumes, at munchkin costumes, etc… We aren’t going really elaborate this time – its our first and we have the lovelies for just a week. 🙂

Call the box office at 706.635.5626 to let us know if you and your sewing machine are on board for this adventure at the Playhouse.
