Learn how to draw tree shapes realistically and painting techniques for tree form and texture. Instructor, Joyce Clair, will guide you step-by-step to paint a spring scene of deciduous trees in the mountains. Other skills you will practice includes wet-on-wet painting, wet-on-dry painting, masking, sponging, lifting highlights and color mixing. Joyce will share tips on composition, values, perspective, and color selection. Her classes are designed for beginners, with or without watercolor experience. All supplies for the project are provided including a mat for your finished painting. Bring a friend for a fun and informative afternoon!
Classes are Saturday afternoons 1-4. Costs are $45 for class + $20 supply fee
