Visual and Performing Arts Education for k-5, Wednesdays 1:30-3:00.
For both classes the cost will be $55. per child per week with a 50% sibling discount per sibling. For individual classes the cost is $30. per child per week.

Option for monthly cost will be $210. and for a semester (15 weeks) for $750. and annually for $1,800.

Will include art class work at Gilmer Arts Gallery, Off site class field trips, and drama/voice at The Gilmer Arts Playhouse. Seasonal events such as Art Exhibits, Dances, Theatrical Productions, Socials, etc will be part of the program.
Karissa Miller: I am a degreed art educator receiving a BFA in Art Education in 2019 from the University of West Georgia. I have been an artist for 35 years. I have been teaching art at the P-12 grade levels and adults for 15+ years. I am a parent of 2 adult daughters and a "Granny" to my oldest daughter's toddlers. My youngest has a rare condition called Mowat-Wilson Syndrome. I am experienced in all abilities of learning and teaching to each individual child's needs. At 49 years old, I can say my biggest passion is serving underserved communities in visual arts education while providing a safe space for children & adults to express themselves creatively. I promote kindness, empathy, diversity & inclusion in all areas of my life.
JoAnn Davis: retired Special Ed and Drama teacher from the Augusta Area. Ms. Davis is a soprano in two choruses and plays handbells at church. In addition she played the lead in our 2023 play, “The King and I”. She worked with the local middle school last year working Shel Silverstein poetry into a drama workshop for ELA students. This year she will be directing two of our children’s plays and will work closely with the drama camp.
