Color Theory takes on new meaning when you see how Becca uses color to transform the typical landscape photo into a beautiful bright scene like the one in this reference photo.
- Learn to mix these exaggerated colors and use them to create an energized landscape.
- Bring your own photo for inspiration or select one from Becca’s stash.
- You may use brushes or palette knives.
- Becca’s focus is on using ACRYLICS, but if you wish to paint using oils or watercolors, you are welcome to join us. (Becca’s Photos are personal images or from a paid subscription to iStock by Adobe, Inc. and are for marketing and instructional purposes only and may not be photocopied for commercial use.)
Session 1 begins at 1pm on Friday, Sept. 19: instruction fee: $90 (members get discount)
Session 2 begins at 1pm on Friday, Sept. 26: instruction fee: $90 (members get discount)
Both Sessions (Sept. 19 & 26): discounted fee: $155 (members get discount)
Beginner’s supply kit: $75 (The beginner’s kit includes an 8pc paint set (pro quality Golden brand heavy body acrylics), beginner brush set, palette knives, sketch book, & color-wheel.)

If you are a beginner trying to find your niche in the art world of North Georgia, this is a good place to begin. Meet others from your community who have similar interests. By keeping the attendance limited, Becca can cater to each student during these painting sessions. If you are an advanced or intermediate painter but need help with acrylic tips and tools, this is a good place for you too. If you want to stretch your existing skills and abilities, Becca’s classes will assist you with that. Her students drive her class instruction and planning. She typically offers private instruction to existing students who request such depending on your location and schedule needs.
